Chances are, if you’ve come over for dinner, I 10/10 probably made this for you! I love to serve this to my guests when they first arrive. This is by far my favorite cocktail EVER! I first had it at a Bread and Circus in Towson after I graduated. I ended up having about 5 of these that day so there’s that.
For years, I’ve re-created this recipe at home – to the best of my ability. I have also incorporated my own twist by adding a splash of Gin (thanks Mads for the recommendation)! With Valentine’s Day coming up, this would be the PERFECT cocktail to have with chocolate. Ok, enough talking! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do!
Strawberry Prosecco Cocktail
Delicious prosecco cocktail made with elderflower liquor, rose water, and gin.
Ingredients
- 1 strawberry top cut off
- .5 oz gin we love Monkey 67
- .5 oz elderflower liquor
- 5-7 drops rose water you can find this at most grocery stores
- ~10-11 oz prosecco chilled (we normally use 11 oz)
Instructions
-
In a small bowl, add the strawberry, gin, elderflower liquor and rosewater
-
Muddle ingredients until well combined
-
Pour the strawberry mixture into a champagne glass
-
SLOWLY (& I mean SLOW) add the prosecco to the champagne glass. If you pour too fast, the drink will get very bubbly and overflow
-
Stir to combine and enjoy!
Omg sounds yummy and it looks pretty! Can’t wait to make some this weekend ☺️
Yayay! Let me know what you think :)! I think we’re actually going to make a few tonight hehe
