If you haven’t heard, Trader Joe’s is now selling a must-have facial sunscreen that is a dupe for Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40.

I can attest to the fact that all of these claims are ACTUALLY true.

When comparing the ingredients of TJ’s sunscreen vs. Supergoop’s, you can see that TJ’s has less ingredients and they are almost identical. TJ’s has one ingredient that is not present in Supergoop’s – Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E).
Now onto my thoughts – I absolutely love this sunscreen! I recently went to Marco Island in Florida and put this thing to the test. It was HOT guys. We went on a fishing trip and as you can imagine, there is little to no shade on a fishing boat. The sun was beaming that day and all I had on was my face lotion and this sunscreen. I DID NOT BURN! Which is shocking because I normally burn on my nose and cheeks when being outside all day.
You cannot beat that amazing price of $8.99!
My favorite part is the consistency. It comes out like a clear gel and becomes undetectable once rubbed in. There wasn’t a white cast whatsoever. Even in photos with flash photography!
It literally feels like velvet when you rub it on your face haha. Sabir and my mom said the same thing when they tried it! The ultimate test was trying it over various serums and moisturizers. I have tried so many facial sunscreens that balled up over my entire skincare regimen. This one passes the test y’all! It did NOT ball up on me, thank god.
So, if you couldn’t tell – this is a win in my book. I highly recommend this for daily use or if you’re just looking for extra protection on your next vacation!
