The Compact Treadmill That Fits Your Space and Your Routine

DeerRun A1 Pro Treadmill Review

HOWWW has it been a whole year since my last blog post? Time seriously flew by. So much has happened, including starting my own business, du Clos Interiors, which has been keeping me insanely busy. *Side note: Would you guys like me to start sharing some of my projects here? I think it’d be fun!* Anyway, starting a business from scratch is tough and time-consuming. The first few months, I barely found time to work out. But as you know, I try to walk at least 3 miles a day!

Between the unpredictable weather and my hectic schedule, keeping up with my fitness routine was a struggle. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect walking pad or treadmill, and I had specific requirements: it needed to be compact (since we live in a condo), have an incline feature, and include a cup holder and a spot for my Kindle. After weeks of searching, I finally came across the perfect treadmill on Amazon—the DeerRun A1 Pro (make sure to apply the coupons)!

Smart Design Meets Convenience

The design of this treadmill is both functional and user-friendly. It comes with two cup holders, which are perfect for keeping my water bottle handy or for stashing my Celsius while I work out. Plus, the built-in phone holder doubles as a spot for my iPad or Kindle. Whether I’m catching up on Gilmore Girls (watching for the first time and absolutely loving it) or reading one of my psychological thrillers, I can easily keep myself entertained while logging my miles.

This treadmill can reach up to 10 mph, which is ideal for anyone looking to mix in some sprints or interval training. I appreciate that I can easily adjust my pace based on how I’m feeling that day, whether I want to go for a leisurely walk or a more intense speed-walk. Another plus is that it can accommodate up 350 lbs!

Elevate Your Workout

One of the standout features of this treadmill is its manual incline function, which allows me to adjust the incline up to 6%. This small change makes a big difference in the intensity of my workouts. Walking or running at an incline not only burns more calories but also engages different muscle groups (the glutes), providing a more effective workout. I love the challenge, and it’s an easy way to add variety to my routine without needing to leave the house.

Space-Saving and Versatile

One of my favorite features is how easily the treadmill folds up for storage. After my workout, I can simply fold it and tuck it away in a closet. This makes it a fantastic option for anyone with limited space or those who don’t want a bulky treadmill on display all the time.

Indoor vs. Outdoor Workouts

While outdoor walks and runs have their perks, having a treadmill at home has been a total game changer. No more worrying about rain, snow, or extreme heat—I can work out whenever I want. Plus, I feel way safer walking at night indoors without stressing about dimly lit streets or cutting my walk short because it’s dark.

I also love the convenience of being able to hop on the treadmill anytime—whether it’s first thing in the morning or after a long day. I can now binge-watch a new show without feeling guilty of couch-rotting all day lol!

Adding Intensity

To spice things up, I like to use my Bala bands on my wrists or ankles while I’m on the treadmill. These weights add extra resistance, making my workouts even more intense. It’s a simple way to challenge myself and get the most out of each session.

The Bottom Line

Having a compact treadmill at home has been a game changer for my fitness journey. It’s not just about convenience; it’s about consistency. With its incline feature, speed options, and thoughtful design, I’m hitting my daily goals and enjoying the process. If you’re looking for a way to stay active without the hassle of outdoor workouts, this treadmill might just be the perfect fit for your space and routine.

Love you guys & I promise to never leave you for a year again!!
