These days, we don’t just wear watches to tell the time. We wear them primarily as an accessory to jazz up our outfits. Many of the watches I own are made of steel, such as Michael Kors. So when JORD Watches (pronounced YODE) approached me about a collaboration, I was definitely intrigued. JORD is a Norse word meaning “Earth” and all of their watches are inspired by nature with a modern lifestyle in mind.
I have been wearing the Ebony & Sable Cassia watch for the past few weeks and I cannot seem to take it off! It matches with every outfit I wear and it’s super lightweight.
I’ve worn this gorgeous timepiece on vacation in New Orleans, while running errands and on dinner dates. The contrast between the ebony wood and gold accents are beyond beautiful!
Found in East Africa, the ebony wood has a high saturation of color and a natural glossy sheen. The design is very unique and like nothing I’ve ever owned. It is thoughtfully-styled with a Scandinavian design in mind. The Cassia can also be found in Walnut & Vintage Rose, Olive & Aegean Blue, and Zebra & Ivory (all of which are gorg).
Besides the Cassia series, JORD offers beautiful designs in ladies’ watches, along with great styles for men. The minimalist styles are designed to complement and enhance anyone’s style.
