Peppermint Espresso Martini Recipe

The Perfect Holiday Cocktail

I’ve always loved a good espresso martini, but during the holidays, I wanted to create a version that felt festive. This recipe is creamy, minty, and has just the right balance of coffee and vodka to make it feel indulgent and celebratory. Sabir is super sensitive to caffeine and can never have an espresso martini at night, so I decided to use decaf espresso in this recipe to keep it low-caffeine and sleep-friendly. If caffeine isn’t a concern for you, feel free to swap in a regular espresso shot instead!

For this recipe, I used the Nespresso Altissio Decaffeinato espresso pod and paired it with Chobani’s Peppermint Mocha Creamer for a creamy, minty twist. Since the creamer adds some sweetness, I wanted a coffee liqueur with a stronger coffee flavor to balance it out. I usually reach for Kahlúa in espresso martinis, but after doing some research, I decided to try Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur. Its bold, rich coffee taste feels more authentic, and the lower sugar content allows the flavors to really shine in this recipe. It works perfectly and really brings everything together!

The recipe makes two cocktails, and I served them in my Nick and Nora glasses from CB2. Unfortunately, they’re no longer available, but I found similar ones on Amazon! They’re the cutest size and give the drink such a classic, elegant feel.
