I have been dying to try a Charlotte Tillbury lipstick for years. My go-to nude lipstick since undergrad was MAC’s Blankety (it’s gorg). Last year, I switched things up and headed to the CT counter at Bloomingdale’s.
Initially, I thought I was going to go for the most-loved “Pillow Talk.” HOWEVER, when I tried it on, it did not work with my skintone. The associate was SO nice and helped me nail down the perfect color combo.
I ended up going with the lipstick color “Nude Romance.” The color is described as a universally flattering peachy-nude lipstick. I 100% agree with the versatility! I get very pale in the during the winter months and super tan during the summer. This lipstick looks amazing ALL YEAR ROUND!
The formula claims to be Charlotte’s signature moisturizing lipstick that gives lips a satin, cashmere-soft finish while protecting against UV damage. It is not drying whatsoever. I don’t even feel the need to wear chapstick underneath which is amazing.
The lipliner color that pairs well with the lipstick is called “Hot Gossip.” It is a tawny rose pink lip liner and is very similar to Nude Romance. I love to overline my lips slightly, add the lipstick, and top with Fenty’s Fenty Glow lipgloss.
